County Louth Golf Club (Baltray)

Other Irish gems get more fanfare, but it’s possible County Louth is the best course in Ireland you don’t know about.

Golf Digest, 2022

Overview

County Louth G.C. is affectionately known as ‘Baltray’ by the locals. The Links hosted the Irish Open in 2004 and in 2009 when Shane Lowry famously won the event as an amateur.

Located on adjacent links land, Baltray can be paired with Seapoint Golf Links for an ideal 36-hole day of championship links golf.
