Royal County Down Golf Club

This is among my favourite places to play in Northern Ireland, one of the truly great links courses. The more you play it, the more you recognise it for the piece of class it is

Overview

The magnificent Royal County Down is often ranked the #1 course in the world. The Mountains of Mourne provide an epic backdrop, with its stunning coastal views, the setting at ‘RCD’ is a sight to behold.

Narrow fairways and testing bunkers are surrounded by purple heather and golden gorse, making Royal County Down a breath-taking though challenging test of pure links golf.
