Scotland is one of the world’s most popular golf destinations. So the sooner the better. The surest way to guarantee coveted tee times at big-name courses is to book your trip 9-12 months in advance.

Most golf clubs in Scotland stay open year-round. But Golf season generally runs from late April to the end of September. This period offers the most favourable weather and daylight hours.

However, although conditions are less predictable, you can also enjoy great golf experiences during shoulder season in March, April and October.

Each region offers a unique mix of great golf, stunning scenery, cosmopolitan charm, and amazing attractions.

But your maiden trip should strike the perfect balance of all the above. Our first-time guests always love Aberdeenshire and East Lothian
