The most copied hole in golf

Bernard ‘Ben’ Sayers (1856-1924) ranks among the game’s first great renaissance figures.

The Scotsman was a world-class golfer, sought-after instructor, cutting-edge club maker, successful equipment manufacturer, and visionary course designer.

Arguably, the wondrous West Links at North Berwick Golf Club is his crowning achievement.

Particularly the groundbreaking 15th hole, which has since been copied dozens of times.

Sky-scraping mountains, unspoiled landscapes, golden beaches, and crashing Atlantic waves.

Sligo always takes your breath away.
